Sending an email notification with a comment

I have setup the "Issue Created" event to send an email to "user" mentioned in the Approver field (custom field). 

But instead of just sending an email that issue is created I want to send a comment too saying "Please approve the issue" 

How can i do that? Please let me know

You can add a Post-Function on the workflow transition when the issue is created.

Edit the workflow in question and click on the transition you want to fire the event on. Click the Post-Functions tab.

Click Add Post-Function

Select Script Post-Function 

Then select Send a custom email

Fill out the form and publish the workflow.

Thanks for the information, but I don't see that option. I am using JIRA cloud, is it not available in cloud version?
