Sender address not displayed in issue

According to the documentation (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Creating+Issues+and+Comments+from+Email) the following should happen, after inserting a Default Reporter in the mail handler:

  • When an issue is created and this option is specified, the email message's From: field address is appended in a brief message at the end of the issue's Description field, so that the sender can be identified.

ONly... It doesn't - can anybody help?

Hi Kathrine,

If the default reporter username has a mix of upper-case and lower-case characters this could be related to a bug https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-32750 .

Switching to a default reporter with only lower-case characters in the username should resolve the problem.
