Seeing Jira project hierarchy

Melanie Miles November 22, 2016

We want to see a graphic representation of all the tickets we've got in projects. We've got a hierarchy with stories and tasks linked to epics and I've looked at Links Hierarchy tool but it only shows the hierarchy within a specific ticket. Is there a tool that will allow us to see the same kind of thing but from a project level?

Hi Melanie,

Our Structure add-on will let you create a complete overview of a project, multiple projects, as well as releases, sprints, boards, etc.

There are different ways to get an Agile project into Structure. One way is to Insert your Epics from that project, then Extend with Stories, then extend again with Sub-tasks.

Alternatively, you can insert stories and group them by Epic.

This will show you the full project, with progress, estimates, time and numerical values aggregated up from Sub-task to Epic level.

You can also extend the structure with linked issues from other projects (dependencies, bugs).

Cheers,

Robert
