Hi

I am looking to have custom security scheme which only allows users to only view there own items which they have raised.

Is there an article or can some explain on how to accomplish this.

You might be looking in the wrong place.

The easiest way to do this is to enable the "reporter browse" permission and use it in the schemes for your project (it's turned off by default, because it can cause problems if it's mishandled). This really does do "only see an item if I'm the creator" - a lot of support systems, including Atlassian's, use it.
