Second Edit form

Is there a way of having a second edit form, such that there would be two edit buttons shown on an issue to launch them? The second one would be launch a cut down edit form for managers to update a few "status" fields without having to scroll past a large numbers of fields.

Hi Richard,

you could add a new workflow transition to every workflow status. The target status is the same status as the one, you came from.

In this workflow transition, let's call it "edit light", you can show a special edit form, which you define on your own.

Maybe a lot of work just to avoid a little bit scrolling, but it should work this way.

Thanks Thomas, I did not know that you could do that. There are 5 or 6 statuses that would need this, so not too bad.

I guess an alternative would be to use tabs, its just one extra mouse click to choose the "status" tab.
