Search for only wildcard qery, ina custom text field?

Hy all.

For the issues have a one field (costume, text field), we are use four diferent "values" for this field:  "-" ; "?" ; "free text" or EMPTY.

The problem is, the users can't to list the, issues wher are this field's value equal "-" or "?"

Are this search is possible or not?

The problem is that this is a text field.  You can put - and ? in it if you want, but as those are useless pieces of text (you don't need punctuation without text), they're no use in a search, and the searching code ignores them or uses them to mean something else.

You won't be able to search for them using the standard searches.  Your best bet is to stop putting them in the field and have a separate field that captures them as a drop-down.
