We allow updating of closed/resolved issues. I would like to be able to find issues which have been updated after being resolved/closed. I have tried adding a query for updatedDate > resolutionDate but it seems the query i/f does not allow comparing jira fields against one another.
I am using 5.2.11
You will have to write a custom JQL function for this. Requires some development effort.
You could try https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Scripted+JQL+Functions#ScriptedJQLFunctions-expression%28Subquery%2Cexpression%29 - which allows complex numeric expressions on issue fields.
Equally https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Scripted+JQL+Functions#ScriptedJQLFunctions-dateCompare%28Subquery%2Cdatecomparisonexpression%29, might be easier.

I now see I did not ask a question. I should have included the following:
Is there a way to do this without having to write a custom JQL function?
I am assuming if I had worded my initial post in this way, 'No' would have been his answer.
