Search filters is missing from Label dropdown in Next-gen project

I have two Next-gen projects one has the "Search Filter..." in the Label dropdown and the other next-gen project does not.  How do I configure the "Search Filter" option in the Label dropdown for next-gen projects.

Carol,

  I believe that the issue is in the second next gen project you are only using a few labels so there is no need to search them.  The label filter in next gen only includes the labels being using on the issues.  While you might have 50 labels if you are not using any of them then the label filter will not even show.  In this case it looks like you are using 3 of them so only 3 show.  In the other project you are using a lot so the search shows.
