Search Basic not picking up Status in project

Christopher October 2, 2019

Hello,

I was not sure where to put this as it appear to be a bug in the Jira Basic search.

If someone could please take a look into this we have a Software project that uses a few different Statuses.

Statuses:

To Do, In Progress, Testing, Done, and Resolved.

When you select the project and try to select the Statuses to filter by it comes up with No Matches? I even tried selecting and un-selecting the Issue-Type.

Now we can still search by JQL however some of our users do not know how to use JQL properly.

Any assistance with this would be great :)

Thank you,

Christopher

Hi @Christopher

Not sure, may be a whole Jira re-index can help.

Hi @Christopher

You should be having application admin access for this. Go to system option under the admin cog icon to the top right. Then you can select (search for) Indexing option available on the left side panel.

Ideally you should be landing in the page <url>/secure/admin/IndexAdmin.jspa

Go for a background re-index option if you don't want a downtime.
