Maybe you can help me to find out whether this is a bug or not.
I use JIRA Basic Search, choose a field at the 'More' section and than pick some values,
JIRA creates a JQL like "... AND reporter in (Name1, Name2, Name3)"
With the Field 'Account' from Tempo the JQL looks like
"... AND Account = 62 OR Account = 68 ..."
This delivers a wrong result,
Bug or feature?
Hi Markus,
it depends what you are looking for. You can search for an Account by ID and Key. If you write Account = 62, you are searching by ID.
By writing Account = "62" you are searching for the Account by its Account Key.
We do have an improvement in our backlog to make Accounts searchable by name, but I do not have information about the version that will include this feature.
Kind regards,
Susanne
Hi Markus
Can you elaborate a bit, what is the "wrong result"

Thanks for the information, Susanne!
In this case I used JIRA standard search > more > account > 'pick some accounts' and the JQL that is created has the IDs in it.
