Is there a way to enter a scriptrunner code for a validation check?
I'm addign checkboxes to my transitionscreen and would like to have a validation check on it. so far no checklist och checkbox plugin gives this functionality but i read that you can script a validation yourself on scriptrunner.
but when i'm going to enter a validation for a transition, i cant find the scriptrunner instance in the list of validations.
is it not possible to have a validation with scriptrunner on a jira cloud?
Validators (and Conditions) can not yet be done by ScriptRunner for Cloud.
It's a limitation in Cloud - it doesn't (yet) provide the structures that SR needs to hook into to provide validators and conditions.

Hi @Jakob Pettersson , @Daniel Alonso , @Andrei Gorin ,
I'm pleased to say that Workflow Conditions and Validators have now been recently added to ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud!
A quick intro of the feature can be found here: https://www.adaptavist.com/doco/display/SFJCL/How+do+Workflow+Validators+work+inside+of+ScriptRunner+for+Jira+Cloud >
This page also contains further information and link to some examples, but we'll have a full page in our docs explaining how to use Conditions and Validators very soon.
Many thanks,
Ryan

Hi Jakob,
Just you are still looking for a solution and are open to other apps: We have just released Cloud Workflows which enables customizable validators/conditions in Jira Cloud. I am 100% sure your use case can be covered with it.
The app is available here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220407/cloud-workflows
Full disclosure: I work for the Vendor who created this app. Let me know if you need any help getting started.
