ScriptRunner was accidentally upgraded, how to downgrade?

Rich Scire January 6, 2016

ScriptRunner was accidentally upgraded from version 3.1.4 to 4.1.3 trial version. How can I downgrade to 3.1.4 without losing all the scripts and customizations we've added?

Hi Richard,

You can download the version you want from SR earlier versions and upload it. You are not going to loose any of your scripts or your customisations. Everything is going to be there after you reinstall it. You can also have a look Downgrading an Add-on to an Earlier Version

Kind regards

You need to uninstall the plugin first before installing the older version, IIRC.

For the record, most plugins store plugin data in the Active Objects database table. These tables are NOT purged when plugins are uninstalled, you should never lose data.

Hi Richard,

Download the jar file from Atlassian market place and manually upload the jar file by clicking on Manage Add-ons under Add-Ons page.
