Scriprunner: how to get project version( It's configured)

 I  want to  get  project version   by  Scriptrunner  in workflow State transition

where would you like to put the version data in the transition ...could you please elaborate your question?

When a state transition occurs, assign the project version number to another feild

i think that can be done using scriptrunner-plugin like to copy the project version and set that data to a field in the screen automatically ...i hope this is what your talking about
