I have a requirement where I should have a issuetype and a subtask
Custom Issuetype must have screen-1
Custom Subtask must have screen-2
The issuetype and Subtask must be associated to the "Scrum Software Development Project" type.
When I create a new project of the type Scrum Software Development Project and add the Custom issuetype and the Custom subtask
along with its respective screen(overriding the default project screens), I face a problem where changing the screen scheme of the issue type changes the screen scheme of the subtask as well and vice versa.
Any help is appreciated !Thanks :)
Hi @Goudamy Sockalingam,
First you need to make sure that you have different issuetype screen schemes for the main issue and the subtask.
You should have the following:
main issue create screen, main issue edit screen, main issue view screen.
Then create a "main issue screen scheme" and add the previous screens.
The do the same for the subtask:
subtask create screen, subtask edit screen, subtask view screen. Then create a subtask screen scheme that includes the previous 3 screens.
And finally create an issue type screen scheme that includes your 2 screen schemes each mapped to its relevant issue type
