Screen schemas, Configuring screen schemas and Issue type schemas

Vaishail August 19, 2015

I have been reading a lot about following

1) Screen schemas

2) Configuring screen schemas

3) Issue type screen schemas

But it is still not very clear to me.

Is there any URL or video which explains this with an example.  ?

I need this because each of my project has different workflow and screens.

Any help is very much appreciated.

thanks,

Hi Mike,

I am new to JIRA administration.

We have  1 JIRA instance and it has 3 project groups to use it.

Each JIRA project has different workflow and screen requirements for Epic, Story, bug  and task

I understand  creation of workflow very well.

But still struggling with

1) Screen schemas

2) Configuring screen schemas

3) Issue type screen schemas

I have created 1 Screen for bugg

and another screen Epic, Screen and tasks

I want to know who to create  Separate screen for Epic, Story and  Task and associate it..

thanks,

Apology for the delay. Are you clear with the doubts or you need clarification?
