Screen on transition if certain conditions met

Hi

I'd like to implement a change in my workflow  - hoping for some help!

I'd like for a screen to pop up during a transition if certain conditions are met

E.g.

If the value of a custom date field is in the past I'd like for the screen to pop up complete with a mandatory field.  However if the value of the custom date field is in the future I don't want it to appear.

I'm struggling with linking the conditions to the screen - can anyone help?  We do have Script Runner but not too sure where to start with this to implement what I'd like

Hello Lauren,

what about using 2 transitions? 

1. Show transition with screen if condition is true (date in past)

2. Show another transition without screen if condition is true (date in past)

or: a similar topic here
