Salesforce and Jira integrations

Hi there

I am looking into integrating Salesforce and Jira. We currently using a Zapier automation rule. I have also seen ServiceRocket's Salesforce Connector for Jira - I am wondering if there is a free bi-diractional app or connector that can be used for this purpose? We do not want to increase costs so wondering if anyone here knows ...

Thank you

@Yatish Madhav hey! Perhaps you're currently using a solution, but feel free to check ZigiOps. It's a no-code bi-directional connector that integrates Jira &Salesforce, syncs their data, and keep them up-to-date in real time. It's customizable so it can fit various use cases. Give it a try with our Trial version (it's totally free).

Hi @Yatish Madhav

This is Majid @ Exalate.

You are literally spoilt for choice when it comes to options to connecting between Salesforce and Jira, but yes there are only a few free options available. With Exalate's Basic mode, you can use the integration for free forever if you want. It should be able to sync across Salesforce Cases to Jira tickets bi-directionally.

I don't think so, there is a free bi-diractional connector is available.to don't increase the cost you have to Build a custom integration(Rest and Soap Api's)

If you have development resources available, you can build a custom integration between Salesforce and Jira Cloud using their APIs. This will give you more control over the integration and allow you to customize it to your specific needs.

Hi Yatish,

Aidin here from the Product Team @ ServiceRocket. If you have concerns about the pricing of our app, we are more than happy to have a conversation with you and we may be able to help you out. If you are interested, please reach out to us via our support portal.

Best,

Aidin

Thanks for the reply, Aiden.

I think the main reason is to not pay for an integration when we are paying for 2 systems already :)

They main thing we would like to do is:

- link a Salesforce case to SD or Software issue on JIra

- have a bidirectional comments and status check between the 2

It seems that the Service Rocket add on  does do that with a bit more that we dont currently require

Thank you

@Yatish Madhav

Yes, the above-mentioned is possible with - https://bit.ly/3HIf5BV

I hope it helps!
