Howdy my fellow jira masters,
I'm looking for the ability to automatically generate tickets based on an email sent to our salesforce support alias.
Also wouldn't mind if it had the ability to pull information from say, campaigns, and create tickets as new campaigns are created.
Considering just using API. Not sure what's the best bet.
Thanks guys and gals!
Both Connectors work via APIs and provide you with tons of capabilities such as bidirectional synchronization, comment and attachment synchronization, one to many associations and so on.
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Have you had a go with ServiceRocket's Salesforce connector already? I'm not too familiar with SFDC personally but the connector does seem to have features I'd expect to use with any run-of-the-mill CRM. They're pretty responsive too if you need tweaks or slight feature adds.
If you do end up building something separate, lots of folks would be interested in seeing what you create!
You can check out DXchange Integration Cloud. They offer a comprehensive Salesforce Plugin for Salesforce integration. It comes with an inbuilt data mapping tool and a parser for multiple format conversions for quick integrations. You can reach out to them and ask for a demo. They're pretty responsive too if you need tweaks or slight feature adds.
Do share your experience, how it turns out for you!
