SSO for Jira

I wanted to implement ADFS SSO to Jira. Can you please guide me how to do it?

Are you on server or Cloud?

For server instances you must go for a third-party app. You can have a look to  SAML Single Sign On plugins.

On cloud you must go for Atlassian Access instead.

We are using cloud. my second question is: can we use SAML SSO along with local user login?

I wanna use both (ADFS SAML SSO + local jira users).

Hi Hitesh,

Even after your turning on the Atlassian Access, the external users who don't have *@company.com domain still can use your site if you are ok that these external users are not under the control of Atlassian Access which means, for example, you cannot enforce the password policy to these users.
