Roadmap feature not available in my Classic Project Edited

When was this answered. I have a board, but the roadmap option does not show up in the left column or in the settings.

I am on a Data Center Jira Software 8.7.0 and Jira Core 8.7.0.

The Roadmap feature is currently only available in Jira Cloud for both next-gen and classic projects.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of Roadmaps for Server/Data Center:

• Roadmap feature for JIRA Server

You can vote and watch the feature to receive updates, but bear in mind that the status is "Not being considered" at the moment. 

For now, you can use Advanced Roadmaps that is available for Data Center and it's a more complete tool with more features than the Project Roadmap for Cloud.
