Restricting creator from editing

How can I restrict the creator of the issue from editing it

There is no way to do this directly.  You can have users who can create, but not edit, but this is a project permission that means they can't edit any issues at all.

You could grant them edit and set permissions in the workflow (with workflow properties on status), but this will not be based on the reporter, as you can't say "reporter can NOT do something"

You need to be more detailed here as if there any particular fields you do not want to be edited.

You can try restricting Edit issue permission to specific users.

We need to revoke the edit from the creator if the issue is not in OPEN status only
