Restrict user permissions in RapidBoard

Hi,

I would like to know if I can restrict the users in the Users role project group to do only the following operations:

- Create issues

- Prioritize issues in the backlog

- Comment issues

I've tried creating a new permission scheme, but it doesn't work. Is the user belongs to the users role project he can move issues from one column to another.

We are running JIRA v5.1 and Greenhopper 6.0.1

Thank you.

Well, using permission schemes is exactly the way to do this. Theare ar rights you can grant to users to allow or restrict this, namely:

  • create issues permission
  • Schedule Issues permission (for ranking/changing backlog priority)
  • Add Comments permission

If those restrictions did not work you might have granted other rights to said users as well, e.g. via "Author" or "Assignee".
