Restrict activity visibility

Jo August 5, 2014

Hi,

How would I go about making private the activity of one user in Jira? ( by this, I mean making his/her activity in Confluence and Tempo be "invisible" to everyone but the system administrator ).

Hi Ioana,

it is very difficult to achieve this, it might even be impossible.

To view the Timesheet of other users you need to be Team lead (for Team timesheet and User Timesheet of Team members) or have the "Tempo Project Manager" permission for a Project ( to access Project, Issue and Agile Timesheet). You can use these permissions to control access to the worklog information within Tempo.

The users activity will still show in the "Activity" module of an issue and in the JIRA Activity stream. You will need to check with Atlassian about this.

Kind regards

Susanne
