Currently in the log work screen, when you search for a issues to log work against, the search will show all issues you have access to within JIRA. Is there a way to restrict this list to only show unresolved? or stop resolved/closed issues appearing?
Currently, several staff members are selecting issues that are resolved/closed, they then get an error message saying they can't book time, but it would be more helpful if they were unable to select the issues in the first place.
I'm aware that I could set up a filter, but getting this used company wide would be problematic.
At the moment the only possibility to exclude closed/resolved issues from the issue selection in the Log Work dialog is to use filters.
