Currently, the resolution popup appears as I wanted when I selected Resolved or Closed status. However, after I selected the resolution from the resolution screen popup, the resolution field is not updated in the jira ticket.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
Also I have heard about the workflow post function. If the way to solve is related to the post function, please tell me how I go to see the workflow post function.

Hi Joe,
You should go back to the workflow where you added the screen to your transition and go to the post functions (if you are using the new workflow editor there will be a link on the right of the screen after you've selected the transition, otherwise you'll need to select the transition and click on the cog next to the name).
Now you'll see that in the last post function an event is being thrown, make sure that this is the Issue Resolved or Issue Closed Event (depending on the status your moving into).
Also make sure that your not overwriting your resolution field again in one of these post functions.
