Reset permissions on a project

glennapb November 10, 2013

I thought it would be a good idea to create a new 'Administrators-only' permission scheme for a project that only needs to be accessible to administrators as 'read-only'.

I created the scheme, then added jira-administrators to the 'Administer Projects' role. I then applied it to a particular project - and now I can't get into it (I'm an admin).

How can I change the permission back to the default permission scheme for a given project?

Thanks

G.

Go into Admin -> List of projects - the project administration screens are always available to administrators via that route whether they can see the project via "browse" permissions or not.

Worst case, hit the url directly: https://yourjirasite/plugins/servlet/project-config/TEST (where TEST is the short-code of the project you need to fix)

I am having a bad Monday morning. I could swear I didn't see it there before.

Thanks Nic.
