Required Field Not Appearing after I selected none Edited


I have some custom dropdowns, which I didn't select to be required fields. I accidentally selected "none" on two of them and now they've disappeared from the ticket. I've since gone in and made those dropdowns required fields meaning I can't do it again! 

Anyone got any idea how I can get the dropdown back on the two tickets that I selected none on? 


On the "where is my field" section I get this info but I don't know how to set the value as it's not appearing?!

Field value

The field 'Requirement Size' does not have value for issue DITS-2 and will not be displayed on the view issue page. Set value for that field so that it shows up.

I solved this by clicking Admin->Add field and then searching for my field.

A field will not appear on the view screen if it has no value. That is how Jira works. You need to set a value for it in the Edit screen.
