Reporting JVM version error during JIRA installation!

I've installed the latest version of JAVA(9.0.1) , but the error still came by . Wrong JVM version! You are running with java version "9.0.1" but JIRA requires at least 1.8 to run. Anybody got the solution? Thanks !

Hello,

Actually you do not need to install Java on Jira server. Jira already comes with embedded jre which is enough. Moreover Jira does not support Java 9. You can read information about supported platforms here

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/supported-platforms-802592168.html

You should deinstall your Java 9 and change your JAVA_HOME to <Jira_Installation_Directory>/jre
