Remove or hide project type from Create Project

Rob Houweling March 11, 2014

How can we remove or disable/hide certain project types in the Create new Project wizard?

To make it less confusing we want our admins to be able to use only 1 or 2 templates instead of 6.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Rob Houweling

In downloaded jira, you can turn off the plugin modules which provide the unwanted templates. I don't think you have that option in ondemand

You can also disable the whole project template completely, failing back to the 'old' jira functionaliy.

Disable the system add-on 'Project Templates Plugin'.

Thanks. We are using the on demand version. It is possible with that version as well?

Works like a dream Stefan. Strange that this is option is so hard to find within Atlassian documentation
