Related OI or AI field - "Please select a valid issue" after import.

Good afternoon,

We completed a JIRA import (3000+) recently, and went to move an item through a transition phase. We receive an error stating "Please select a valid issue". Our Related OI and AI field that we imported matched a completely different setup, so these will show a hyperlink that fails when you click on it. This behavior does not bother us as we can at least see what it used to link to.

This stops our ability to move items throughout transition phases as JIRA does a validation of this field. Is there a way to turn this validation off for a single project? Or another way to cleverly get around this issue for a single project? JIRA 6.2

You can make a copy of workflow and cancel this validation. Then assotiate this copy to requared issue type into specified project.
