Recurring issues- any way to code?

Hello all,

is there any way to code recurring issues in JIRA? I know there are a few plugins available but they cost and i´m looking for a way to avoid that ..

I want to plan a recurring issue once every week and every month. Is there some way like with swift ?

Okay, so I found an add on that could maybe help. I installed "Automation Lite for JIRA".

I wad told that with this add on I could set recurring issues but I havent found that feature yet. I could only set up a few things but no date / time etc. for a planned recurring ticket.l

Is there a way to set up this add on with the JSON? I would update it then via the "Additional fields" box.

thanks, I checked it out. But i´m really looking for a way to code this feature myself. 

Maybe there is a way for that.
