Recurring Task query

We are using recurring tasks for jira core and have noticed if the task already scheduled is not marked done, a new task for the next scheduled date is not created.

Will the task generate once the previous task is marked as done?

If you don't manage to get any reply on this in here, I'd advise to contact the vendor by using the resources listed in the support tab of the marketplace page of Recurring Tasks for Jira Cloud:

• Email vendor
• Submit a support request
• Go to vendor status page

A new task does create even though the prior task is still 'To Do' or 'In Progress'.
