When using the "Filter Results" Gadget on a dashboard, one can either select the "Default columns" or a set of individual columns.

  • When using individual columns they are sortet alphabetically from left to right. Is there any possibility to arrange the columns in an individual order?

  • Additionally, is it possible to create a set of personal Default columns which can be reused in multiple "Filter Results" Gadgets?

Thanks in advance
Philipp

We use the Show Saved Filter with Columns plugin. It costs a little money, but it's been worth it.

For OnDemand customers that can't use the Column Order Gadget Plugin (see the Atlassian OnDemand Plugin Policy), and are comfortable doing some simple HTML editing using your browser, here's a solution:

You can use the Column Order Gadget Plugin to rearrange the columns.

You can choose your individual order with this gadget.

For more information you can have a look at JRA-19083.

GREAT QUESTIONS! i don't have an answer for these, but I have the exact same problems and would love to hear any solutions. Two additional questions on this gadget:

  • Can you adjust the width of a column in the filter result gadget?
  • Can you remove the wrap text formatting so that each issue takes up the minimal amount of space in the gadget?

Thanks!
