Rapid Boards are empty after upgrade to Greenhopper 5.9.7

Thomas Beckers May 11, 2012

The Rapid Boards are emtpy after we performed an upgrade to Greenhopper 5.9.7 from Greenhopper 5.9.6. There is only an error message at the bottom of the page: e.g. "Fehler '00000000000031.000' ist eine ungültige Nummer" ("ERROR '00000000000031.000' is an invalid number").

We are using Jira 5.0.3.

Any ideas?

Hi all,

This has been filed as a bug in our project: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-5149

The temporary work around is to set the user's locale (not the system-wide locale) to English. Re-indexing or restarting will not be required.

We apologise for the inconvenience. The fix will be available in the next release of GreenHopper.

Cheers,

Michael Tokar [Atlassian]

Seems to be a problem with the Default language. Setting this from English UK to German results in that number format exception. I expect the '.' to be responsible for 000005.000 to being a valid number.

Hi,

The problem could be related to the Story Points custom field.. Default one created upon GreenHopper installation may be removed. Please look at the log files when reproducing the issue and look for any message.

Here is more information about that:

Very strange. Could you open a support ticket about this? They can reproduce this and raise it as a bug.

Thanks,
Shaun

This problem dissappers when a different estimation statistic (not "Story Points") is selected in the rapid board configuration.
