Ranking is disabled, how to disable the annoying warning pop-up?

Claudie November 16, 2017

I've purposely disabled Ranking in our Scrum board, and everytime I accidentally move items up/down, I get the warning pop-up message:

"Ranking is disabled, as the Filter Query for this board is not ordered by ascending Rank. Please check your filter configuration."

How do I stop this annoying message?

Thanks

I don't think you're going to like the answer, but it is "stop accidentally trying to rank things".

Because ranking is so important to Scrum, Atlassian put the message in to tell all the users who were complaining about not being able to rank stuff (because the board admin had messed up the filters).

I'm afraid the small handful of people who do not want to use ranking in Scrum boards fall into "edge case" users, so it's not worth doing something to disable a message that helps most users.

:( that's what I thought anyway...

Thank you!
