REST API +SSO from scheduled job

We are looking to set up a scheduled job to extract Audit Log information from JIRA and Confluence using the REST API. However, we are using SAML SSO authentication, so we can't use the username/password authentication for the REST API, and as this is a scheduled job, we can't use an existing session token for authentication.

Does anyone have a way of authenticating to the REST API in this situation?

Hi Ed,

Our app supports both SAML and Kerberos. Kerberos for the REST API can optionally be enabled inside our app.
