I have enabled the custom service desk field "approvers" to be used in our scrum board. When we put things into "In Review" in our workflow our team is adding an approver to review their story before moving to "Done." I want to create a quick filter on the new "approvers" field and it does not show anything.
Note: I had to go into the "approvers" field and enable search first because it was saying that it was only sortable and not searchable.
After that, I added a basic quick filter (approvers = aaron), added myself as the approver on a ticket and when I applied the filter it did not show the ticket. It showed no results.
Does anyone know why the filter is not working for this field?

We have a Data Center but that worked for us, with the addition of an "s".
They have:
Find requests that require or required approval by John Smith:approval = approver(jsmith)
What worked for us:
Approvals = approver("John Smith")
