Hi,

My license of Jira and Confluence expires on 31 October of 2013. If I no renew my license I can still use Jira and Confluence in the normal way? (So I can still create issues, pages, spaces, etc.)

I read in Atlassian FAQ that if you renew your license software you
have a right to download the latest updates and technical support, but I don't know if you can still use Jira and Confluence if you don't renew...

Can anybody help me?

Thanks,

Daniel

Your systems will continue to work.

No changes, no data loss, no impact on the users. Except that you'll see a few "unlicenced" reminders in a number of places (most users won't see or notice them, it mainly affects those with administrator rights). You will be able to download and apply security updates.

However, you will NOT get

  • Support
  • The ability to upgrade to a version released after your licence expires (so if Jira 7 is released on the 1st November, you won't be able to upgrade to it. If it's out on October 30th, you can, even with an expired licence)
