We find the JIRA activity in the Fisheye stream useful but note that it is removed in 2.8 for performance. Is there a gadget we can install or a configuration change we can make to put this back? JIRA has the Source tab for commits only, but it doesn't integrate Issue activity there either.

The JIRA Activity Stream cannot be reactivated. This was a tough call to make but our investigations indicated that it would bring more benefits than harm and we really want to give the best user experience possible with a product simple to adopt and performing.
