Question about Jira Upgrade with Fallback

Mike August 11, 2017

After reading the documentation on this method it seems pretty straight forward.

My question is in regard to the URLS. In my case I'm going to create a separate Jira instance on different ports (other than the production version) on the same server. So the host URL will be the same except for the context root path. Are there any imbedded urls in the database that are hardcoded back to the original context root?  Is this a concern?

Thanks,

Mike Oatsvall

No, you only need to change the base url for the new system.
