Public Atlassian bitbucket repo ?

I'm interested in getting https://bitbucket.org/atlassian/jira-performance-tests.git referenced in this page.

But it appears there are zero public atlassian repos at all, signed in or not at https://bitbucket.org/atlassian/ I get 'This user has requested we keep their identity a mystery. Let's never speak of this again.'

Hi Adam,

I am afraid the KB you are referring to in https://confluence.atlassian.com/enterprise/jira-performance-testing-with-grinder-461504621.html is very old.   This guide was created for Jira 5.1.  I am afraid it has not been updated in a very long time.  So much so it still makes references to using Java 5 or 6 with Jira.  Which is something that could only be done on much older versions of Jira.   For comparison, all Jira 7 versions have to be running Oracle Java 8 versions.

I did some investigation as to why that is. It appears that Atlassian decided to no longer create scripts for use with the Grinder application back several years ago.  As a result the existing repo was closed to be a private repo in order to restrict the access to these scripts.  So I don't think there will be any way to access that repo to do this kind of testing.

Perhaps instead you could see our JIRA Performance Testing - Available Tools for more information on the other available performance testing tools out there for Jira.

Update:  I found more information on this topic.  It turns out Atlassian has not provided these scripts for several years.  This was an intentional decision.   However the KB article remained untouched since that time with those instructions.

We should have removed that article sooner.   Previously when users tried to follow this they got an error that the repo did not exist, that's because Atlassian actually had deleted that repo entirely.  However since that time, it looks like our internal team testing performance created a new repo with the same name.  It is not clear to me if these are even grinder scripts at this point or some other methodology for testing.

However this code is not open source at this time.  There is an open feature request to provide publicly our testing script used to measure Jira performance in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-63885

I would recommend watching that ticket for updates.
