Project type that doesn't create it's own schemes

Robin Rodgers April 8, 2015

Hi,

A few weeks ago, when i created a project i could, for instance, choose JIRA classic as a project type. JIRA classic projects always had default schemes (workflow, issue type etc).

Due to some recent update I have different options now regarding project type. I have tried a few, and each of them creates its own schemes containing the name of that project.... Choosing agile project even creates it's own agile board! When a mature implementation of Scrum is team oriented rather than project oriented...but that's another story.

Does anyone know if there is a project type that selects the default schemes rather than create its own? This is costing me loads of time since i have to change all the schemes back to the defaults for every project..

All help appreciated.

cheers

Hi Robin,

Please see: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/14202168 and https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CLOUD-7806 for more details.

Please raise an issue with us and we can fix that for you.

Cheers,

Clarissa.

Thanks Clarissa, You told Ryan the following: "The JIRA Classic is now known as JIRA Default Schemes project type." I, however, don't see that option...Please see my screenshot above in my ticket. Is there an option which fits my needs? This is a huge step backwards for us as now i have to switch all schemes to default for every project i create, and also delete all the schemes which are created with the project to stop pollution of my scheme pages...
