Project list is empty after upgrade to 6.2 on Jira Home

I've recently moved from 4.2 to 6.2 and after doing so everything appears to have worked except when I am on my Jira Home (default) clicking on any of the menu items (Dashboards, Projects, Issues) they are empty. If I navigate to a specific project page these menu items have the content I would expect in them. How do I go about addressing this issue so the correct information is listed on these views?

Hi Jamie,

From the sounds of it there's most likely a problem with the index, post-upgrade, so I would recommend that you try following the instructions in the resolution section of this document to completely rebuild the index as I'm hopeful this will resolve your issue: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Unable+to+Rebuild+JIRA+Index

All the best,
John

I ended up blowing the updated db away, clearing jira home and starting over and that resolve it as well.
