Using Jira v8.4.1 . An account that has the Administrator role for a project cannot configure the Kanban board for that project. The message ''Contact a Jira or Board Administrator to configure this board.'' appears. Nor can this account create a new Kanban board for this project. The 'Create board' option is grayed out.
The project type is Business.
The project has a permission scheme applied to it, namely, the Default Permission Scheme. In that permission scheme, the 'Ádminister Projects' permission is granted to the Administrators project role. The account in question has been assigned the Administrator's role for the project.
What have I missed to enable that account to configure the Kanban board for that project?
