Problem Setting up Bonfire extension on IE 10 (Windows 7)

John Corless July 2, 2013

After installing the Bonfire extension under IE 10 for Windows 7, I'm getting a server error message:

"Could not get a response from the JIRA server - the server or your network may be offline."

Details:

https://site.atlassian.net/rest/auth/latest/session? os_authType=none responded with a status code of 0

There are no issues with the network - I have successfully installed this extension on Firefox and Chrome on Windows 7.

What's the issue with IE 10 and Windows 7? Is it still not supported? If not, when will the next release of Bonfire be, and will it be supported then?

A quick reply would be much appreciated as I need this capability to test a web application.

Thank you in advance for your response.

For this type of issue (proper config, works in one OS, but not another) I would suggest filing an issue with support. They can confirm if it is known issue, and assist you to file a bug for the GH/JIRA teams.

Just poked on their site, there is a known bug with NTLM proxies apparently - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BON-796 not sure if that fits your use case.
