Pricing question

Hi

we are trying to explore JIRA for some projects , we have some basic query

-the present pricing shows for Download - 500 users -8000 $ and once you go to checout it shows in below default selected option as 12 Month maintenance

so my understanding is that as per above JIRA can be download , installed and maintained by Purchases and there will be a support for 12 months by Altassian for technical , administrative and upgrade support so it means the org can stil use the installed JIRA version for perpetuity

need help in understanding of same , Thanks for same

Your understanding is correct. Buy Jira, you get support and upgrades through to the end of your licence. Once it has expired, you can no longer get support from Atlassian, and you can NOT upgrade to any Jira version that is released after it expires.

The only thing you've typed that I'm not sure is correct is that you mention "administrative support" - Atlassian will not look after your Jira for you, you'll need people in your organisation to be Jira Administrators. Atlassian will give them technical support when they need it (until your licence expires)

Hi Hitesh,

You are correct that the license is valid for 12 months and that covers you for unlimited upgrades during the license period and also Support in that period as per our Support Policy: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/Support/Atlassian+Support+Offerings

After that period the application will continue to function as expected but you will no longer be entitled to support and you won't be able to upgrade the application, although it will continue to function and a license renewal will be 50% of the original purchase price.
