Post function to copy field value before transition not working for me?

I have a fairly large number of issues that i want to update the resolution from Unresolved to Resolved and was able to do this by adding a Global Transition to workflow and then calling on it trhough the Bulk Update --> Transition operation.

The issue i'm having is that the resolved date ends up being current date and i want it to be the last updated date.

I tried adding a post function to Copy Field Value to Another Field in workflow however, it doesn't seem to work even when i check the box to apply function pre-transition. Both Updated and Resolved fields end up showing current date? What am i missing?

Since I have no solution only a comment.

I guess resolved date and updated date are set after the postfunction. So you copied the old updated date into resolved date but that was overwritten with current date just after the postfuntion.
