Post adding Gmail account in JIRA SD; how JIRA categorize emails in Issue type under Service request

I have gmail account where are all emails received from customer end. I am trying to set up gmail account in Jira. 

My concern is post addition of gmail account the emails receiving in JIRA how they can be categorize in to Issue type under Service request automatically?

Hi Aniruddha,

 

You need to configure the  to create a Email Server and then configure Emai Handler.

You can set one issue type per email adress.


EX.  every email sent to test@gmail.com will create a new ticket with issuetype= TASK
