ABC-1(Story)
ABC-2(Epic)

ABC-1 is included into two versions

1. CPR 1.0 (Cross project release)
2. PSR 1.0 (Project specific release)

ABC-2 is part of only one version

1. CPR 1.0(Cross project release)

Actual Result:

1. If you select both versions (CPR+PSR) in the filter

The scheduled timeline shows ABC-1 & ABC-2

2. If only Project Specific version is selected it is showing ABC-1

3. If only Cross Project Specific version is selected it is showing ABC-2

Actual result:

The timeline should show ABC-1 & ABC-2 when CPR is selected.
since the tickets are part of same CPR

I still not able to figure out why ABC-1 is not appearing on the timeline when only Cross project release is selected.

I am struggling with similar displaying problem.

Perform following.

  1. define an epic with one task
  2. create fixVersion A and then B and set "release date" (e.g. 1 month and 2 months in future)
  3. assign both to epic and task
  4. add some points (or hours) to task (so it will be scheduled)
  5. make sure the board/project is in your jira portfolio plan
  6. make sure a team is assigned to epic & task
  7. do calculate, it will show a timeline
  8. now select only Release A and watch timeline and watch report "Capacity"
  9. then now select only Release B and watch timeline and watch report "Capacity"
  10. (for me) In case B, there is no timeline and just a slightly colored bar and no Capacity assigned to the team

Why can't Portfolio show timeline and reports for issues having both Releases?

Hi @rahuldanwade,

We were unable to reproduce this. Could you provide us with further info to help us reproduce this? It would be good to know the following:

- Was PSR 1.0 part of the CPR 1.0 cross project release?

- Was the story a child of the epic?

- What version of Portfolio were you using?

Thanks,
