Populate custom field (Multiuser Picker) with values from a specific user group.

Hi,

I have added a custom field(single select type) and I want to link it to a specific user group.

In other words , I want to fetch custom field options from a specific user group.

Please suggest appropriate solution.

Does Jira provide any such functionality out of the box? Beacause I have to use it with jira 6.1.6 and this plugin shows compatibility for only v 5.0 - v5.1.8.
